Dodson & Horrell Ground Chaste Tree Berries: This has traditionally been used for seasonal moodiness in mares as it is a good hormonal balancer (not to be used in pregnancy). Male moodiness has also been addressed successfully with this herb and most recently The Laminitis Trust has conducted research that shows the value of using agnus castus in laminitis cases.
Feeding Guidelines:
- Ponies and smaller horses – 0.75 scoops per day
- Larger horses – 1 scoop per day
1 scoop (50ml) = 28g
Do not exceed the recommended feeding guide without consulting Dodson & Horrell or your veterinarian. Do not feed to mares in foal. Store in a cool dry place.
